Tiny Men

Cells are what make up our body, they form structure, and without them, there wouldn't be a single living thing. The first thing that will be talked about is homeostasis, it is the maintenance of a constant internal state in a changing environment. Cells must do many jobs to maintain homeostasis. Your body is always changing, so it is hard to maintain it, your cells have certain needs that have to take place.

Your cells need oxygen, and nutrients and the also have to be able to expel waste. Cells will die if homeostasis is not maintained. Cells are what form tissue, if you have a limited amount of oxygen supply, then those tissues will die.

Only similar cells work together to create tissues, not unlike cells. There are four kinds of tissue, epithelial tissue. nervous tissue, muscle tissue, and connective tissue. Tissues form organs, and organs form systems.

One example of epithelial tissue is skin. Skin is the largest organ on the human body. Epithelial tissue covers other types of tissues, like muscle tissue.

Instead of breaking up into smaller bits, epithelial tissue cover a large area, without stopping, create a giant sheet.

Nervous tissue is the messenger of the body. It sends electrical signals to many parts of the body. You could find nervous tissues in the brain, nerves, and all of the sense organs. The sense organs help you see, smell, taste, hear and feel.

Muscle tissue is obviously in muscles. Muscle tissue works by the cells it's made from. These cells are special because they can contract and relax. This is how we move our muscles.

Connective tissue is SUPER important. This connects many different organs, as well as protects organs. Muscle tissue also makes sure things are insulated and nourished. And another thing that ewe really need. It keeps our organs from falling apart.
